OUR beliefS

church doctrine & belief

Holiness Tabernacle Outreach ministries strongly believes that the Bible is our Heavenly father's inspired instructions for our daily lives.  The Bible, in its entirety is our doctrine, what we teach and accept as true.  We believe the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three distinct beings all one and the same; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.  Here is an abridgment of what we believe:

The Father

We believe that the Heavenly Father is sovereign, the beginning and end, the first and last, alpha and omega, and is the creator of the heavens and earth.

We believe the Father sent his only begotten son into the earth to die for the remission of our sins and whosoever believes shall be saved.

We believe the Father is omnipotent (all powerful), omnipresent (present everywhere at the same time), and omniscient (all knowing).

We believe that the Father sits on the heavenly throne and has a place prepared for those who love him as well as those who do not.

*(Gen 1:1, Rev 1:8, 1 Cor 2:9)

The Son

We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the only living and true God.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the bread of life, which came down from heaven.

We believe that He is the Word that was made flesh and dwelt among men on earth.

We believe that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and is God.

We believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to take away our sins and reconcile us to our Heavenly Father through his death, burial, and resurrection so that we may have eternal life.

We believe that the dead in Christ shall rise first and we, which remain, shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

We believe that the Son sits at the right hand of the Heavenly Father on the throne in heaven.

*(John 1:1-2, 1:8, 3:16, 6:33-35, Romans 10:9-10, 1 Thes 4:16-17)

The Holy Ghost

We believe that the Holy Ghost is the promised gift of the Father.

We believe that we must be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

We believe that after the Holy Ghost has come upon us we shall receive power to be witnesses for Christ throughout the world.

We believe that the Holy Ghost is our comforter, brings all the teaching of Christ back to our remembrance, and leads and guides us into all truth.

We believe that God is a spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

*(Acts 1:4-5, 1:8, John 4:24, 14:26)
